1.Naturally curly
2.Permed (chemically curled)
There are many different ways of perming. From tight curls to
just slightly wavy, how about spirals, tin foiled, demi waves
root perms, rod perms of different sizes which all give different
effects.
Natural curls come in many different forms from tight curls through
loose curls to hair with just a few kinks in.
All give totally different looks and can be various lengths,
also they can all be styled in different ways too, using grips,
slides, headbands and tying long hair up.
OK your hair has great natural body, but has that frizzy look,
tends to be dull or unruly.
To maximize your hair's potential, choose a layered look (long
or short) that cuts shape into curly hair.
Try hair shiners, pomades, surface conditioners, and soft fixatives
to boost hair's shine and relax too much curl.
For very coarse, curly hair (like that of many African Americans),
chemical re-texturizing via coloring or relaxing is a good choice,
giving hair a smoother and more manageable feeling.
Deep, heat-activated conditioners are also important for curly
hair, which sometimes has a tendency towards breakage.
