Hope you came back in your next life and have to live in this situation so you could experience this yourself. Africa is not as rich of a nation as the US. We are -- supposed to be -- a caring and compassionate ally. I agree we have to help our own people as well, though, instead of spending billions in Iraq and killing so many innocent victims.

The US feeding and saving these blacks will only increase the black numbers, who will in time have yet a greater famine and disease outbreak, to then whine for more aid. The US tax payers need to worry about their own US people who are short on medicine, food and housing. Africa is the Africans' problem.

hahajohnnb is 100% correct. Foreign aid has made the whole over-population issue in Africa all the worse. Instead of allowing routine corrections to downsize their numbers we have propped them up for a greater all in the future. The calamatity that will come will eclipse all famines seen before, and all the bleeding-hearts will be responsible. It's time to allow nature to dictate the terms.

Sad but not at all ignorant. Sad because we in the west fed these animals and now they have over populated themselves, so Malthus is proving himself correct yet again. Africans have evolved a high fertility rate to compensate for their high mortality rate, western medicine has thrown their world out of balance. We caused this to happen through kindness.

We should let them all starve to death and allow natural selection to work its magic. By feeding these people and giving them Western medical aid, these people will over populate themselves, destroy their environment and start immigrating to our countries where they cycle will repeat itself.
